Privacy policy
Last updated: 2026-10-22. This policy follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nDSG/FADP, in force since 1 September 2023) and, for visitors in the EU/EEA and the UK, the GDPR / UK GDPR.
Controller
Ramon Lisibach, Zurich area, Switzerland, hello@dresstoshock.com.
No cookies, no tracking profiles
This website sets no cookies and uses no third-party analytics, pixels or ad trackers. We count page views and "buy" clicks with a tiny self-hosted counter that stores only: the page path, the time, the referring website's domain (if any) and an optional campaign tag from the link you clicked. No IP address, no device fingerprint, no identifier is stored, so individual visitors cannot be recognised. Server logs are kept for a few days for security only.
Waitlist / e-mail
If you enter your e-mail address, we store it together with the time and (if applicable) the design you were looking at, and send you a confirmation link (double opt-in). Only confirmed addresses receive mail: one message when the shop opens, then at most one per new drop. Every message has an unsubscribe link; you can also write to hello@dresstoshock.com and we delete the address. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; Art. 31 FADP) and Swiss UWG Art. 3 para. 1 lit. o.
Purchases
When you click "Buy", you leave this site and purchase from our print-on-demand partner Fourthwall, Inc. (merchant of record), which collects your address and payment data under its own privacy policy. We receive order details (products, amounts, country, and the e-mail you used) to track sales and handle support. Payment data never touches our server.
Hosting and processors
The site runs on a server in Switzerland. Processors: Fourthwall, Inc. (USA; orders, payments, shipping - covered by their standard contractual clauses), and the e-mail delivery service named here once we send mail. We do not sell personal data.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and object to processing at any time via hello@dresstoshock.com. EU/EEA residents may complain to their supervisory authority; Swiss residents to the FDPIC (EDÖB).
Retention
Waitlist addresses: until you unsubscribe or 24 months after the last mail. Anonymous counters: aggregated, indefinitely. Order data from the partner: as long as tax law requires (10 years in Switzerland).
